Affiliate Disclosure

Amazon Associates Program

top7tools.au is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.au.

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. This means that when you click on a product link on our website and make a purchase on Amazon Australia, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.

Editorial Independence

Our product rankings and reviews are based entirely on independent research and evaluation. No brand, manufacturer, or retailer pays for placement on our lists or influences our scores. That applies to every ranked pick on this site without exception. The one paid link that is not an Amazon commission is described below, and it is never a ranked pick.

We include honest pros and cons for every product. If a product has drawbacks, we say so. Our goal is to help you make informed purchasing decisions, not to sell you the most expensive option.

Starlink Referral Links

A small number of pages carry a referral link to Starlink, the satellite internet service. These appear only where satellite is genuinely relevant to the page — for example on our portable power station guide, where a satellite dish is one of the continuous loads that decides what capacity you need.

If you subscribe to Starlink through one of those links, SpaceX pays us a one-off referral reward. You pay nothing extra, and the amount does not vary by which plan or hardware you choose. We are a Starlink customer ourselves; we are not a reseller, agent or partner of SpaceX, and we cannot sell you the service or act on their behalf.

Starlink is never one of the seven ranked products on any page. Those rankings are Amazon Australia products, chosen and ordered before any referral link existed and unaffected by it. Every Starlink link on this site is labelled as a referral link at the point where it appears, not only here.

Product Selection

We select products based on a combination of factors including performance benchmarks, user reviews, value for money, build quality, and availability for Australian consumers. Only products that are readily available on Amazon Australia with shipping to Australian addresses are considered.

Your Rights

Products purchased through Amazon Australia are covered by Amazon's return policy and may be covered by Australian Consumer Law. We encourage you to review the product details and return policy on Amazon before making a purchase.
